The most exciting recent dimension in our longstanding relationship with NCM has been “College.Be.” – a social media site that allows our students to tell the story of student life at UMBC. What’s most impressive, looking back at all our history, is the firm’s ability to grow with us, and to understand very keenly the changing environment and the changing market. We approached 12,000 visits on the “College.Be.” site less than three months after the launch. We’ve also seen a sharp increase in applications. Our advertising targeted the D.C. metro area, and we’ve had a 43% year-over-year increase in applications from Montgomery County alone.
